Coaching & Supervision

Individual and Group Support

Supervision

Effective supervision plays a vital role in the development and performance of those working in helping professions. It offers a safe and confidential space for reflection, learning, and emotional support—benefiting not only the individual practitioner but also their colleagues and those they support.

External supervision facilitates:
  • Reflective Practice: Regular supervision encourages reflection on case work, work-based concerns and facilitates improvements in professional practice through positive solutions
  • Learning & Development: It helps professionals identify their own learning and development needs; a space to discuss professional practice and ensure that their skills and knowledge remain relevant for safe and effective support and care.
  • Emotional Support: Supervision provides a confidential, supportive environment to process challenging experiences, helping to protect wellbeing and reduce the emotional toll of frontline work.
Supervision can be accessed in the following ways:

One to One Supervision – Individual supervision meetings are conducted online (or in person on request) on a monthly basis. Supervision sessions last 1 hour unless otherwise agreed.

Group Supervision – These meetings are conducted face to face (or online by request) and are 90mins in duration. Frequency of group supervision is by mutual agreement but is most often every 6 weeks.
